Review of Gamer (2001) by David M — 06 Apr 2014
This was one of those films that I would have been interested in seeing in the cinema, but that I never got round to actually doing so. After watching it on TV, I'm now quite glad that I didn't pay to go see it!
Taking as it's premise the thought that what if your character in a shoot-em-up (like, say, Call of Duty) was a real flesh-and-blood person being remotely controlled by a player, the result is a disjointed confusing mess of a movie that rarely makes any kind of coherent sense.
One to avoid.
