Review of Game Night (2018) by Mrdr4Gon — 13 Mar 2018
Decent, well made comedy. Its a little light on the laughs though, which is a shame because there are some very funny jokes that do land. Too often though setups are telegraphed and that's when there are jokes instead of just zippy conversation.
There's some surprisingly good camerawork and some strong performances from Rachel McAdams and Jesse Plemons but in the end it doesn't rise too far above being 'alright.
