This is a lovely tribute to the legend Johnny Thompson, the great Tomsoni. This story draws the viewer in to the craft of magic, the love of art, and the joy of being a part of the story. This show delightfully blurs the lines of the raconteur and listener.
The genuine love displayed between Penn Jillette and Johnny Thompson will warm the heart. The Gambler's Ballad is an amazing pageant of a mentor performing his art while commissioning his observer into becoming the next professor.
