Just saw it after waiting years in anticipation. Like many other critics, I am a Snipes fan. Despite his legal problems and tales of overblown ego, I still clamor to see anything he's in. But Gallowwalkers is a big disappointment.
The story was interesting and they style and atmosphere is very much like a 70s drive-in movie. But the content is very weak and unsubstantial. You keep waiting for things to happen and nothing. Oh, well.
That's what you get with direct-to-dvd these days but this will go down as one of Snipes' worst. .
