Review of Galaxy Quest (1999) by Michael S — 13 Feb 2010
Really entertaining and fun movie. It's an easy watch that is more than a one trick pony due to an inventive (self-deprecating) script and great comic casting. Sam Rockwell as funny as you'll ever see him, and a great bunch of stereotypical Sci/Fi TV characters who it seems relished the chance to act out a script that pokes fun at themselves and the industry they work in.
Perhaps this last reason is why the film works so well on me?
