Oh man, this movie is totally nerdgasmic. I mean, there's Alan Rickman and Tim Allen and Justin Long and Tony Shalhoub and awesome aliens and conventions and actors fighting for real life screentime and a lot of real laugh out moments, and if (against all belief) nothing of that piques your interest, the movie's worth watching if only for Alan Rickman's portrayal of a frustrated, self loathing, British has-been wanna-be stage actor who suddenly finds himself in space fighting evil.
