Review of Galaxy Quest (1999) by Leonard E — 24 Nov 2013
The last truly high-production PG movie made, and coincidentally, Tim Allen's last good movie. Star Trek comes out in a couple of weeks, why not prep for it with this often-overlooked gem of a movie (not counting cartoons).
Kind of a spoof, but with some excellent writing and top-notch special effects (especially for 1999). If that's not enough, it has A-list talents Alan Rickman and Sygourney Weaver as co-stars.
