Review of Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life (2010) by Jaakko-Juhana T — 30 Dec 2010
Very french, quirky and free-form adaptation of the SG´s legacy, the film is like the man himself - in the verge of collapse but saved the next minute, entertaining but in a masochistic way, life as a conceptual piece of art - painted with bold strokes, sung with no remorse, being loved and hated, being a dad, bastard and drunk - being alive.
