After viewing the first film, I guess I had no choice but to view this second installment, and though I personally thought it was much better than the first, the film still lacks the essence of what a Futurama series was supposed to be.

I read somewhere that the first and this second film was actually the original series that aired on Comedy Central -- several episodes merged into one full-length film, and of course, without the commercials.

The film was nonetheless interesting, but I was a little bored at certain points. The film's story was alright. I didn't understand it much, especially after looking at the DVD cover -- the cover had nothing to do with the film itself, really.

I don't think Leela ever wore that dress in the film itself, and the "billion backs" part was more like a billion tentacles. The did have some fun moments, and I kind of enjoyed the Christian references that were present in the film.

Wasn't sure if the film was playing on it, or just making fun of it, but it was quite interesting. Overall, the second installment was much better than the first, and can't wait to view the third installment sometime this fall/winter.
