Review of Futurama: The Beast with a Billion Backs (2008) by Lance M — 04 Apr 2009
This second of the four movies starts up right where the first one left off. There's a rip in the fabric of space and while everyone is startled, it doesn't seem to be causing any harm, at least not until Fry goes into the tear to another universe and meets Yevo, a god like creature that only wants to love.
Yevo enters our universe and loves everyone by attaching a tentacle to their spinal cord. I liked this one probably third of all the movies, but like Benders Game, doesn't mean I didn't like it.
It has a lot of good jokes and all the characters where there. Unlike the first and last movies though it just didn't give a felling of significance, like in the first movie there was alot of time traveling that explained alot of the things that happened in the series, and in the last movie that left you hanging at the end and saw Leela and Fry kiss for the first genuine time.
Of course though I'm still gonna recommend it.
