Review of Futurama: Into the Wild Green Yonder (2009) by Core O — 16 Mar 2009
Not the funniest of the movies by far, but by far the most satisfying, cinematic and even character driven. By the end I was actually moved nearly to tears by the wild climax, I had laughed hysterically at a great many of the jokes, some of which references distant episodes of the series.
By the end, I actually cared about the main characters on levels much deeper than the fact that they have given me entertainment for the last few years. If this be the end of Futurama, I say it's grand, beautiful and perfectly suited.
