Review of Futurama: Into the Wild Green Yonder (2009) by Debbie D — 20 May 2009
What may possibly be the finale of Futurama. The jokes are great, but the film itself never becomes as memorable as the past three films. One of the best moments is during the opening credits, making an homage to 1960s Las Vegas with a swing jazz song sung by Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy.
If you're a devoted fan of Futurama, i'd buy this because the creative team always gives 110% attention toward commentaries and special features for every televised season and the three movies.
All in all, a touching finale that makes a good (but not great) curtain call for the 31st century crew.
