Review of Futurama: Bender's Game (2008) by Erin C — 02 Nov 2008

It seems the direct to DVD Futuramas are just getting weaker. Starts out promising but dies a convoluted death in the 2nd act. Yeah, Groening was a D&D player and yeah this is his eulogy to Gygax, but it doesn't rationalize the stupid alternate reality storyline.

As usual, the professor has the best lines (when he gives the speech to Fry as a monkey really cracked me up). Maybe it was a good idea for Futurama to be canceled when it was... instead of milking every last dying breath like the Simpsons is doing.
