Review of Futurama: Bender's Game (2008) by Joseph R — 10 Nov 2008

Okay, i'm getting a little bit more faith in the movie aspect of this series. while this movie still can't quite capture the futurama movie feel of "bender's big score" (still the best one so far), it's still incredibly hilarious.

you can't really make a movie starring the futurama cast that spends the entire time spoofing lord of the rings and Dungeons and Dragons and expect it to not be funny. there's a little bit more delving into the futurama mythology here as well in terms of hearing about backstories from both nibbler and mom (the owner of the robot corporation).

I really love when futurama does this. it's interesting to hardcore futurama fans as well as entertaining. hopefully the final movie in this 4 part quadrilogy will deliver the goods. Bender's Game definitely makes it seem like they're heading back in the right direction.
