Review of Futurama: Bender's Game (2008) by Lindsay W — 07 Jan 2009
The third, and best, of the Futurama films. It starts off slow, with a little too much D&D focus. Once the inexplicable and insane plot got fully underway, however, it had me in stitches. Of course it made absolutely no sense, but.
You could tell the creators were too busy having fun to trouble themselves about that. It was probably the Lord of the Rings allusions which really put this one over the top for me, but there were certainly plenty of unexpected and hysterical moments.
"Thanks for ruining the franchise, Scott Bakula.".
