Review of Futurama: Bender's Big Score (2007) by Pure Rock Fury — 16 Jun 2008
I really thought that this was going to be something special but it didn't take long for me to realize that this movie was not a good re-introduction of the Futurama brand. I read some articles about the director that had me less than encouraged going in and sadly, the complaints I read were pretty much accurate.
What "Bender's Big Score" feels like is a slapping together of three very bad episodes of a really good show. It can be argued that this movie failed to reestablish Futurama, especially considering it's second life on Comedy Central.
Too bad.
