Review of Fury (2014) by Tony1984 — 12 Feb 2017
The Nazis have been done to death at this stage but could Fury give us a new angle? No it couldn't. Not even from atop a tank.
Visually enthralling and with a few captivating scenes are the pros, The rest unfortunately are cons. The actors were weak. LaBeouff and Bernthal are not the cream of the crop and Logan Lerman is afternoon soap quality. Pitt is competent. The script is jarring and inconsistent ,especially with regard with the tank crew's behavior, some of it overly cliched and some head scratchingly odd. Battle scenes verge from excellent to kinda ridiculous. Not bad but not to be watched a second time either. I think WW11 movie's such as this have seen their last. Brad could do better.
