Review of Fury (2014) by Najd G — 11 Jun 2017
For the first 45 minutes, any chance David Ayer has to create something authentic, he opts for the cliché instead. This is a complete Hollywoodized depiction of war, full of military-non-isms like "over and out" and a full-haired Sergeant boasting "I promised my crew I'd keep them alive.
" But I learned to have some forbearance as the last hour of the movie provides an emotionally harrowing experience that I won't soon forget.
