Review of Fury (2014) by Dragonsfoe . — 16 Apr 2015
A well acted slice of life that shows the horrors of World War 2.
Fantastically led by Brad Pitt a group of soldiers recruit (Lerman) into their tank, Fury. This film is highly entertaining and tragic with an ending leaving you empathetic for the survivors. Every one does a great job in the arctic department, as well as Ayer whose stylistic vision and direction compliment the beautiful cinematography. His focus on characters is a reason to anticipate his next directorial feature, Suicide Squad. Though it was enjoyable the film did not have much of a story and theit does not have a real antagonist or objective. Overall the film has great emotional impact and great acting, which makes the film more and more believable.
Rating: 7.6 (B).
