Review of Fury (2014) by Roy H — 24 Feb 2015
David Ayer's film about tank warfare during WWII was incredibly accurate to what the film was trying to portray, that being the hardships that came with being crammed in hunk of metal with the moral dilemma that comes with war.
Although most of the film was centered on the action, it helped punctuate the emotions that the crew felt about each other and their actions. Then when the actual emotional moments enter the film, they are very powerful.
The acting was great, especially from Shia and Logan Lerman. Their previous films (Percy Jackson and Transformers) made me anxious, but half-way throughout film, that all changed.
