Review of Fury (2014) by Daniel I — 04 Mar 2015
A truly terrible film, it's like a 1940's flag waver without any of the grace. Horribly inaccurate, and shamelessly abusing the worn out trope that a hero can only die at the right moment, and until then may stay in plain sight, surrounded by literally hundreds of elite trained enemies with impunity, while the heroe's bullets kill anyone they get close to.
Touted as accurate by those paid to say so, it is instead an insult to those who died in the war.
