Review of Fury (2014) by Adam H — 06 Mar 2015
Ok, the previews immediately made me think Pitt was reprising his role of Aldo Raine in Inglorious Basterds, so I didn't give it much hope. This is a brutal movie, literally. Harsh realities of war.
Not a feel good flick at all. For someone like me, who has read and viewed much on WWII, this story is a bit implausible at this time in the war, but beyond that, it is a pretty good movie. I thought the acting was pretty good, especially Jon Bernthal (loader).
He makes you despise him. Not for the faint of heart, as there is graphic violence. Glad I watched it without my wife. She would have walked out on it.
