Review of Fury (2014) by Scott D — 21 Mar 2015
Genuinely my favourite movie of 2014.
The style of the film pays absolute homage to Tarantino but yet somehow also finds its own style along the way. The stellar acting here mostly held up by Pitt and La Beouf, coupled with the beautiful cinematography and a story that doesn't try to be more than it is, a huge war epic with characters you love to hate and a comical, yet visceral view of the horrors of war. Very enjoyable and a definite must for any film fan who likes a bit of style with their brutal and bloody murder.
