Review of Fury (2014) by Dan D — 01 Apr 2015
This movie has brief shining moments of greatness that are all too often over shadowed by major flaws. As a former tank driver int eh Army I can honestly say that this film suffered from Hollywood's view of what war is like and not what it actually is like.
Almost every combat scene lacked believability for people who know better. The storyline was also awkward and seemed like the script was a group project by a dozen people who never met and hated each other.
It made no sense what so ever. Brad Pitt was good but the rest of the cast seemed to be going through the motions. It could've been a good movie but seemed to be playing up to the movie going crowd who likes explosions more than good storyline.
