Review of Fury (2014) by Christopher B — 14 Aug 2015
Fury is a gritty, gruesome war film that not only shows the horrors of war, but also captures the moment where heroism is displayed by going against the impulse of the moment to flee when faced with overwhelming odds.
The superb acting displayed by Pitt, LaBeouf, Lerman, Peña and Bernthal adds to the overall atmosphere of the story. It is true when people say "they don't make war movies like they used to" but as long as there are directors like David Ayer, the realism of war will always live on the screen.
