Review of Fury (2014) by Scott A — 17 Sep 2015
Stunning action sequences and an admirably visceral approach to the cinematography throughout doesn't entirely make up for somewhat unbelievable plot points. Logic is often sacrificed to emotional charge and though it's hard to fault any performances, especially Pitt as the grizzled sergeant, the characters are all quite stock - it's basically the old coming of age via war story and reluctant (anti-)heroism again.
