Review of Furry Vengeance (2010) by Cheddar D — 15 Aug 2010
Oh my lord, I do love me some Angela Kinsey. Who was she again? She did the voice of Pepe Lepieu's love kitten. You know, the one who looked like a skunk version of Renne Zelwegger. But no, her vocals were inhabited by Queen Kinsey, beauty of the Western coast. The taragon in yesterday's chef salad? Forget the lamest acroument of the season with this one because you're TRULY in for a surprising truth - Brendan Fraser is not a man, but a cartoon himself. What!? Oh yes, I am as serious as the matter is. But let's drive at the heart of the matter. I do not like this movie. I do not respect this movie, or its message that all animals be treated equally and that deer should live off the flesh of the human living. We've played the plaid piper about seven times too many and I, for one, won't tolerate this CRAP anymore. So, for realz, my friends. Here is the situation at hand:
Flixter Users give this film a combined rating of 42%. Now, let's clear the air, be aware, and share as we dare care to spare this film a dime more. No, 42% is not great, but it is SOMETHING and therefore, it is a menace. Where did we go wrong? Critics gave the film 8%. Is this the end-all-be-all of critic/audience differentiation. Probably. I mean, SOMEBODY is going to see Cop-Out. And SOMEBODY is going to see Eat Pray Love. So, by that logic, 42% of those people (and maybe all people) are seeing and loving Furry Vengeance.
So, who am I to compete with that? 5 stars.
