Review of Furry Vengeance (2010) by Maria Lisa B — 02 Mar 2011
This film gets 1 star for the genuinely funny animals. However, any live action human should be thoroughly ashamed in taking part. How this got green-lit from the movie studios is beyond me. Brendan Fraser is plays a career-topping idiot (which is saying a lot for him) and has got really fat since his Mummy days.
It is so full of cringesome scenes that don't go anywhere and jar the "plot". My 9 y/o son paused it half way through and said (in quite an angry tone) how he didn't like it and wanted to stop watching.
My 6 y/o son also complained that it was just the same thing happening over and over. They should have just kept the animals and cut the rest out of it. Whatever you do, don't stay for the post-credits music video unless you have a bucket of bleach to stick your head into afterwards.
