Brendan Fraser takes a lot of horrifying abuse from woodland creatures. That's basically it, the slapstick stretching far too long for the audience's satisfaction or the crude toilet gags that surround the thin plot or the uneven acting from the less than comfortable Brooke Shields, who despite some average jokes, has no comic timing.
