Review of Furious 7 (2015) by Donald M — 23 Feb 2016
Many people complain that the gang are helping it the government now. I actually like it, I think it adds more likability to the characters. Jason Statham is a great antagonist and watching the gang go on the mission of trying to stop this is riveting.
My main problem is the fighting sequences, I think there are way too many camera angles and that makes it hard to follow the action. Also the stunts are outrageous which I actually don't mind. I think with a movie like this it is better to ignore all the little flaws it has like it's cheesy scenes and fast flickery action sequences and just enjoy the movie.
I do think it handles its sadder scenes a lot more maturely than I thought it would and I think that just shows how much the franchisee has grown over the years. It did actually make me cry aswell at the end.
A good send off for Paul Walker in my opinion.
