Review of Furious 7 (2015) by Dylan O — 11 Sep 2015
So they went with Jason Statham being overpowered in the beginning of the movie to being underpowered at the end of it? Really? Okay. Anyway, "Furious 7" is a vast improvement from the previous two installments.
I'm glad the cast and crew gave a proper farewell to Paul Walker, but that still isn't enough for me to be a fan of this franchise. The car stunts are definitely too over the top and unrealistic for me.
I'm surprised the characters came out from their cars with only cuts and bruises. Tyrese still annoys the hell out of me and Dwayne... He's just being Dwayne. The film threw logic out of the window so I said, "Fuck it, let's enjoy this thing.
" It's cheesy, cliche, and... Seriously, stop making women look like trophies. Butts everywhere. It's like I'm watching a vagina fest or something. The movie is fun, but, sadly, it's really, really stupid.
