Review of Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006) by Mary B — 21 Jan 2008
This was just about the oddest film I've ever seen. The concept is interesting, and the theoretically it's cool, but the film is clunky and slow moving. Kidman and the other actors look so deep in thought like they're really intellectual and all, but it's probably more like they're trying to bite their tongues in regret for signing the contract to make this thing.
Very metaphorical, but too hard to follow.
