Review of Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006) by Melissa F — 17 Feb 2008
It's a fairytale that gives its heroine a weighty name and a celebrated catalogue. And it's also exaggerated theater that very nakedly betrays a woman with a camera. It's true what it shows.
But usually taken good care of by masking and hiding.
