Review of Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006) by Vicky D — 29 Mar 2008
This metaphoric film was erotic, intriguing, haunting, melancholy, and even comedic at times. A pretty full spectrum of emotions were incited while watching Kidman and Downey, Jr. on the screen. Fur was tastfully and artistically done--if they had pushed any further, it would having been too fantastical and trite.
It kept me thinking aflter it was over, in a good way. I enjoyed this movie tremendously.
