Review of Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006) by Wendy S — 29 May 2008
This movie needed more photos. At least the actual taking of photos by Diane Arbus, rather than a love story with a man with a genetic hair growth problem. Interesting subject matter, and colourful environments.
... Disappointing that I didn't actually 'see' her work! If she was a feminist, or a person of ambition, or a coward, none of that was really explained. Could've chopped half of the movie and explained more about her character than on the love story, for sure.
