Review of Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006) by Jack G — 21 Aug 2008
Has so much awesome weirdness going for it that it's a shame the film grows too dreary and kind of meandering; we also don't get a really clear intellectual or emotional connection to why Diane is so connected to Lionel for the portrait save for a lot of whispering.
Still... Downey Jr plays a soft-spoken Chewbacca, which is enough for me.
