Review of Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006) by Rebecca M — 05 Feb 2009
This movie was so wonderfully weird! I just may have to buy it.
Diane, a seemingly normal woman with a perfect life, starts to unravel as slightly odd. Curious about a new masked neighbor, she finds one of her Husband's old cameras and wonders to the new neighbor's apartment. Terrified, yet curious of his strangeness, they grow to become great friends, and maybe more. Through this she enters a whole new fantasy like world of freaks of nature, and sees beauty in it.
Great, great movie!
