Review of Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006) by Arianna D — 24 Feb 2009
An unexpectedly beautiful movie, with a very refined Nicole Kidman (her face not yet disfigured by botox), full of delicate atmospheres, narrated with no prejudice at all, loaded with feelings and emotions you can suppose behind the characters' actions.
The secondary characters are the person Diane Arbus actually photographed during her lifetime. Briefly, a noiseless story, well written and well told, that fills you with an extraordinary sweetness and a quiet pity.
