Review of Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006) by Marianina S — 12 Jun 2010
Unfortunately this film did not deserve ... I did not like ... If we exclude the three scenes where my favorite Robert Dawney Jr shows his beautiful face, all the rest I think was a failure ... The story is empty ... I think the nudity was not necessary... It is unfortunate that two such very good actors (Robert Downey Jr., Nicol Kidman) did such a bad choice ... I think the only good thing from this movie is that Robert has shown that he does not care about ruining his image and that is an actor who can play everything... GOOD FOR HIM!!!
On the other hand, that is a movie against racism shows us that what counts is a man's personality and not appearance...
