An absolute joke. And not a funny one. Ridiculously long and what can only be described as lifeless. 'Happy Gilmore' is one of my favourite comedies of all time but ever since Adam Sandler has gone from bad to worse.

I love everything Judd Apatow has had involvement in up until this. He tried something different and for me it just didn't work. The story felt muddled and never seemed able to decide what it was about.

I welcome and encourage creative versatility, but in the case of Judd Apatow, just stick to what you do best. For example 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' and '40 year old Virgin'. Sometimes theres nothing wrong with the status quo.

As for Adam Sandler, just give up.
