Judd Apatow's deepest work yet offers the usual funny gaffs but seems to miss it's target overall. Funny People fails to meet the mark it is trying so desperately to hit and leaves you contemplating the point of the film in general.
Despite this, Sandler and Rogen offer performances that showcase their flexibility.
