Review of Funny People (2009) by Jared A — 19 May 2012

This movie Funny People it's not that bad of a movie! I'm not saying this movie is amazing like Judd Apatow's previous work like The 40-Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up, but this movie is still not that bad.

People do have to realize this movie was a Drama/Comedy it's not just a Comedy it's a Drama/Comedy. When everyone went to see this movie in theaters they were expecting this hilarious movie, but for me I wasn't expecting that I was expecting a Drama movie with Comedy in it and that's pretty much what I got, but I do have to say the Comedy in this movie is Pretty bad, so for that I do understand why people hated this movie because it wasn't that funny, but as for me I enjoyed the Drama in this movie I found the story was interesting and I found the Dramatics of the movie was pretty good.

As for Adam Adam Sandler I found he did an awful job in this movie which doesn't surprise me because he's an awful actor, but him in this movie was just bad his acting was done poorly, his jokes were way too crude and unfunny.

Now as for Seth Rogen I found he saved this movie he was actually pretty jokes, he wasn't hilarious but he was the funniest person in this movie. The main thing about Seth Rogen in this movie was his performance he gave a great performance, his acting was really good and I found his character development was good, so he was the best in this whole movie.

Now as for the co-stars Leslie Mann, Jonah Hill, Eric Bana and Jason Schwartzman I found all of them just awful in this movie as well. They all played awful parts just like Adam Sandler and they all gave shitty performances and they gave you no jokes at all.

So if your still wondering why I rated this movie 3 stars I rated it 3 stars because I found the storyline interesting, I thought the script was well written and I found Seth Rogen's performance was done really well and if you think all that is not enough for 3 stars than oh well it's enough for me.
