Who said American's don't get irony? Calling a film Funny People, then casting Adam Sandler who is about as funny as having your eyes removed through your bell end.
People think Judd Apatow is a comedy hero but the first rule of comedy is leave the audience wanting more, & with every one of his movies they are over long & dare I say unfocused.
And even worse the film's trailers promised watching Adam Sandler go through an agonizing death which *spoiler alert* didn't happen. For once I wanted him to feel like I do when I see his face, albeit in a movie.
