This is either a really good movie or a really bad one; there's no in between. It's a kind of film that draws the audience deeper and deeper into the story as it progresses. If fights hard to keep you interested and for the most part does a fine job.

Yes, the movie goes on a bit longer than it probably needs to, but the length of the film is definitely relevant to the story. The hate it or love it aspect of this film is more and likely within the dialogue.

Does the dialogue work? Is the dialogue even too cheesier for a comedy-drama like this? Well, the film is called "Funny People" and it's about comedians. With that said, I think it works fine.

Final Consensus: Good movie!
