A disarming and heartwarming comedy, Funny People is a touching movie about a seasoned comedian (Adam Sandler) who, after learning he has a terminal illness, is forced to reevaluate his life. This is one of those rare films that might disappoint usual comedy audiences, but delight those who are looking for talented acting.

The film is called Funny People, and there are a lot of them cast in the movie. But there is more drama than comedy, and so the "funny people" have a chance to shine beyond their comedic talents.

And the best past is... they do. This is Apatow's most personal work and probably Sandler's most biographical role. It captures the lonely regret that many celebrities feel once they are required to assess their lives.

If you're looking for laughs, there are a few. If you're looking for talent, there is an abundance. All in all, excellent movie, bravo Sandler, bravo Rogen, and bravo Apatow.
