Review of Funny Face (1957) by Heather G — 11 Dec 2007
Odd how such great dialogue is paired with such horrendous song lyrics. It would make a great stage musical, and really is pretty much set as if it were performed on a stage.
This movie is the source for the "dancing Audrey" Gap commercial. In the movie, that dance sequence was a parody of expressive dance. Somehow, in the commercial it just looked cool. I'm not sure what that says about me.
And speaking of dance, not nearly enough Astaire action.
