Review of Funny Face (1957) by Ame A — 22 Feb 2009
As with most films of it's genre-- the acting, dialogue and plot were sub-par, at best. The choreography and cinematography were fine, but could not make up for it's other, obvious flaws. [Also, I found it hard to ignore the rather sexist overtones of the story.
] I can't comprehend why this film is often described as a 'classic.'.
