A star for Audrey Hepburn, another for Paris, and another for the dancing. Flimsy at best and cloying at worst, "Funny Face" showcases the musical numbers not for coherence of the plot, but because it can.

Frankly, they were a bore and a drag. On the other hand, Thompson's and Astaire's performances merit a rose thrown at the stage. It's Audrey Hepburn who never fails to amaze me with her beauty, and after seeing her dance number in the cafe, I can never call her again "stiff.
