Review of Funny Face (1932) by Sam R — 26 Jul 2009
A little dodgy as all these sorts of films often are and has more than a dash of surrealism - which in my opinion keeps this relevant in modern cinema; lending it edge and it cleverly mocks and satirises a lot of timeless themes like pretentious intelligentsia and vacous fashion whores; all whilst being highly entertaining and enjoyable.
They certainly won't make many like this again. Under rated Audrey Hepburn awesome attack!
