Review of Funny Face (1932) by Amy H — 24 Sep 2011
I love Audrey Hepburn. I think the cinematography, choreography, costumes, directing and acting were very very good. The movie doesn't feel dated, it still feels like a classic. The only complaints about this movie are that I didn't find the tunes catchy and that I didn't feel Fred Astaire was a good choice for his role.
I am not a fan of musicals, but I was willing to give it a fair go. Well done, but not my favorite from either of them.
